I think it's the weather. And a glorious amber coloured scotch.
Honestly, I got into a horrible lapse because I thought an actual ghost hunt was going to happen, and I wanted it to happen before more Dead Oaks came into existence, but I realized I need to write while waiting for it to happen. I can always go back and change things if I have a crazy experience.
I'm also starting to read novels I've heard things about through literature lovers' gossip, things that I didn't want to read because of those very people. I'm starting with the road novels written by Kerouac. We'll see.
Trying to save money. LA at the end of the year, perhaps.
